The Power Of Film
THE POWER OF FILM is a 6-part television series that brings to life over 50 years of teachings, insights, and epiphanies from legendary UCLA film professor Howard Suber.
In each episode, Professor Suber explores exactly why certain films have remained both popular and memorable for generations. Along the way, he uncovers mysteries, dispels myths, and explains— with clarity and humor— the defining principles and inner workings of some of the most powerful and beloved films of all time.
Going far beyond a typical online masterclass or lecture format, Suber’s lessons are delivered direct-to-camera and dynamically intercut with hundreds of movie scenes into a uniquely-engrossing narrative that is surprisingly emotional and entertaining.
